Felix (BASc, MASc, and LLB) is a co-founder, a registered trademark agent (in Canada and the United States), and a registered patent agent (in Canada and the United States). He is experienced in the execution of strategies for the creation and management of Intellectual Property (IP) portfolios comprising patents, trademarks, industrial designs, copyrights, and confidential information.
He worked at Gowlings in the IP group on prosecution and litigation matters related to patents, trademarks, and copyright.
His engineering work-related technology expertise is in the areas of multimedia, graphics, networking, and real-time embedded systems. Specifically, he worked on multimedia co-processor's for mobile phones, machine vision cameras, calculators, wireless networking, and satellite digital video.
Felix completed a BASc at the University of Toronto in the Engineering Science program (Computer Option). Then, he completed a MASc in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering with Prof. Steve Mann. His thesis was in the areas of wearable computing, machine vision, and digital image processing.
Outside of work, Felix enjoys the practice of Iyengar yoga, sailing monohulls (Laser, PY26) and catamarans (Nacra 500, F18), and cross-country skiing.
